KORCIEL Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Overview

At Korciel, we understand that fast, reliable, and transparent shipping is essential to our customers. Our Shipping Policy is designed to provide clear information on how your orders will be handled, delivered, and tracked — whether you are in Lebanon or abroad. We commit to exceptional service levels, aiming for timely deliveries and full customer satisfaction.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order to ensure you understand our shipping processes, timelines, costs, and conditions.

2. Domestic Shipping Within Lebanon

We take great pride in our ability to deliver your orders anywhere in Lebanon within an expedited timeframe. Our local logistics team works diligently to provide door-to-door delivery in 2 business days or less, no matter where you are located.

  • Order Processing: All orders received by 3 PM Lebanon time on business days are processed the same day. Orders placed after 3 PM or during weekends and holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Delivery Areas: We offer full coverage including metropolitan Beirut, Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon, South Lebanon, Bekaa Valley, and even the most remote villages and towns.
  • Cash on Delivery: For domestic orders, payment upon delivery is available to enhance security and customer trust.
  • Courier Partners: We collaborate with trusted local couriers who have extensive experience and knowledge of Lebanese geography and traffic patterns, ensuring efficient delivery routes and minimal delays.
  • Tracking: After dispatch, you will receive a tracking number via SMS or email. This allows you to monitor the status and estimated arrival of your shipment in real-time.
  • Delivery Attempts: If the recipient is unavailable during the first delivery attempt, our courier will attempt to contact you to reschedule or arrange pickup at the nearest service point.
  • Special Delivery Requests: We accommodate requests for specific delivery times or dates where possible. Please contact our support team to make arrangements prior to ordering.
  • Packaging: All products are carefully packaged to withstand transport stresses, maintaining product integrity and appearance upon arrival.
  • Delivery Issues: In the unlikely event of lost or damaged shipments, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

3. International Shipping

Korciel proudly ships to a broad range of countries worldwide. However, international shipping involves complex variables such as customs clearance, import regulations, and local courier services, all of which can impact delivery times and costs.

  • Estimated Delivery Time: International shipments typically take between 5 to 21 business days depending on destination, customs processing speed, and the efficiency of local postal or courier services.
  • Shipping Costs: Costs are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and destination. We aim to provide competitive rates, but international shipping is inherently more expensive than domestic delivery.
  • Customs & Duties: Import taxes, duties, and fees may be applied by your country’s customs authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient. Korciel has no control over these charges and cannot predict or cover them.
  • Customs Delays: Occasionally shipments may be held by customs for extended periods, which is beyond our control. We advise customers to familiarize themselves with their country’s import regulations to avoid surprises.
  • Tracking and Notifications: Tracking numbers will be provided when available, though tracking detail depth varies by carrier and destination.
  • Prohibited Items: Some products may be restricted or prohibited for shipment to certain countries due to local laws or regulations. These restrictions will be communicated before order confirmation.
  • Delivery Problems: Should your shipment be delayed or lost, contact our customer service promptly. While we cannot guarantee compensation for international shipping issues beyond our control, we will support you through the claims process.
  • International Payment: For international orders, we accept online payments only through secure gateways supporting credit/debit cards and major digital wallets.

4. Order Processing Times

Regardless of your location, please allow adequate time for order processing before shipment:

  • Processing time is typically 1 business day but can extend to 2-3 business days during peak periods or holidays.
  • Once your order is processed and dispatched, you will receive shipment confirmation with tracking details where applicable.
  • We recommend placing orders well in advance of important dates such as holidays, birthdays, or events to avoid disappointment.

5. Shipping Restrictions & Special Cases

Some limitations or special circumstances may affect your shipping experience:

  • PO Boxes & APO/FPO Addresses: We currently do not ship to PO Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses due to carrier restrictions.
  • Remote Areas: Shipments to extremely remote or hard-to-reach areas may incur additional fees or longer delivery times.
  • Hazardous Materials: Certain items classified as hazardous (flammable, corrosive, etc.) may be restricted or prohibited for shipment.
  • Bulk or Oversized Orders: Large shipments may require special handling or shipping arrangements which will be communicated at purchase.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery of your order, please:

  • Provide accurate and complete shipping information including full address, contact number, and any special instructions.
  • Be available at the delivery address during the estimated delivery window or provide instructions for a safe place to leave the package.
  • Inspect the package upon receipt and notify our customer service immediately of any visible damage or missing items.
  • Understand that customs fees and import duties for international shipments are your responsibility.

7. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

Korciel is committed to resolving issues related to lost or damaged shipments:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery if the package is damaged or contents are missing.
  • Provide photos or other evidence to assist our investigation.
  • For lost packages, we will liaise with the courier to initiate a search or claim.
  • Replacement or refund decisions are made case-by-case based on investigation results and product availability.
